Enhancing Instructional Programs Within Schools: Training in Special Education Administration for Principals and Other Administrators

This seven-day series is designed to assist education leaders with ensuring quality, comprehensive programming for all students, including students with disabilities. It combines interactive seminars with job-embedded opportunities to help participants convert theory and research into practice to improve student achievement. Other topics include Connecticuts Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) waiver (February 2012), the Educational Transformation Project from the Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents (CAPSS) (November 2011), and new assessments for student achievement, based on the Common Core State Standards.
